WhitChem has a long and successful history as a chemical and mineral distribution company and many of our Principals have been with us for years.
We offer our Principals and customers a complete package from start to finish and see our role as promoting our Principals’ chemical and mineral products.
Marketing and Promotion
We promote our Principals’ chemical and mineral products through a range of proven marketing initiatives.
The main thrust of our marketing is done through our technically qualified and motivated sales team.
In order to ensure our sales team operate effectively we offer support to them at all levels. We maintain regular contact with our Principals’ technical departments to keep our staff up-to-date with the latest products and developments and we provide them with sales literature and technical presentations.
We also send our sales team out to major exhibitions and conferences where they can, if required, act as a support to Principals’ own marketing activities.
We keep our Principals fully up to speed with sales of their products, including reports on sales, samples and competition activity.
We offer a comprehensive storage service in a bunded warehouse with both flammable and warm store facilities.
The warehouse has a fully-trained Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor and Hazchem trained staff on site.
We are ISO 9001:2008 accredited and ESAD II assessed. We are a member of our trade association, the Chemical Business Association, and we are fully committed to their Responsible Care Programme.
We offer a prompt delivery service with hazchem trained drivers and driver cab contact.
We have a proprietary, secure IT system with an integrated network and secure firewall. This enables us to trade electronically with our Principals (purchase orders and invoices).
In addition we maintain a SDS, C of A and product specification database.
