Introduction

WhitChem Limited’s (“WhitChem”) policy is to comply with all data protection regulations at all times. 

 

For the purpose of trading with business partners WhitChem may hold data that in certain circumstances could be defined as “personal”.  This data, is gathered from prior trading activities and ongoing business activities, will have been received verbally, in writing or electronically. 

 

All personal data will only be used by WhitChem for lawful purposes.

 

Data processing and storage

WhitChem is committed to being transparent about how it handles personal data, to protecting the privacy and security of personal data and to meeting its data protection obligations under all laws and regulations.  Data protected includes any personal data held on computer, email and paper records.

Transferring personal data outside the European Economic Area

WhitChem will not transfer personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

           

How long we keep data

WhitChem only retain personal data for trading or other similar purposes and will delete it after an appropriate period.

Personal data is disposed of in a way that protects the rights and freedoms of data subjects (e.g. shredding, disposal as confidential waste, secure electronic deletion) and in line with the secure disposal procedure.
